The aim of the project is to expand and refurbish the town's café, located in Plaça dels Arínsols.
The project will contemplate the construction of a new building and the reform of the first floor of the current building (where the village cafe is currently located), in order to be able to locate all the services intended for the elderly in the parish, both at the level of activities and meeting area.
The current project also contemplates enabling this new space as a day center. The day center for the elderly in Encamp will be a space that will offer comprehensive and individualized care to elderly people who need to spend the day outside their home for various reasons.
The new space will also integrate several classrooms for activities aimed at the elderly, such as those currently in the Cultural Center of the Valireta.
This investment will allow all activities and services to be concentrated in a single location. the building
will maintain the main access through Plaça dels Arínsols, access that will be simplified, beautified and provided with greater accessibility.
The new building will also have a second access from a new road that is already planned in the Planning Plan and Urbanism of the Parish of Encamp and which will be built in the coming years, and therefore, the new building is already adapted to future urban development.
