The project consists of the conversion of an old Borda, on Carrer Major, into a multi-family building with 2 homes. The board was listed as Cultural Heritage, and had the condition that the facades could not be touched.

 

 

To carry out the project, it was necessary to demolish all the slabs of the house. But this was not done at once given the risk that the partition walls could fall inwards. It was demolished floor by floor, and the new floor was built, based on sheet metal working together before demolishing the existing floor immediately above.

 

 

The end result is two complete homes, with all the comforts of a modern building, in a 19th century involute.
